Chi Phat 2011 - Nous avons besoin de votre aide!

Mi Juin 2011, il y a déjà un an et demi que nous les membres de la derniere deleguation du projet "Routards et Benevoles" avons quitte le Cambodge. Un an demi ou nous avons voyage, sommes retourne a notre vie, regrette et….oui meme un peu oublie. C' est vrai que pour chacun d' entre nous,les anciens du Cambodge il y a des moments ou nous nous disons: "Que ne ferais je pour etre la bas!" mais dans l' ensemble nous pouvons dire que Chi Pat, c' est du passé.

Malgre tout quelque chose a change, la bas, au fin fond de la foret tropicale Cambodgienne se trouve notre petit village. Au coeur du village sur la route principale, juste entre le petit café et l'ecole, s' eleve un grand batiment blanc, Pteha Sahakum l' appellent les habitants: le centre communautaire. Dans cette maison, il y a eu d' enormes changements, Il y a quelques temps il y avait un groupe de volontaires Israeliens un peu fou qui ont amene avec eux des ordinateurs et des lecons d'Anglais. Ils ont reuni un groupe d' adolescent du village et les ont forme a devenir par eux meme des leaders.

Un an et demi a passé et le centre communautaire est plus dynamique que jamais. Tous les jours sont donnes des cours d' Anglais et d' informatique, sont projetes des films,sont empruntes des livres a la bibliotheque et autre activites. Sur tout ca supervise le prof' d'Anglais du village qui est devenu le directeur du centre. A cote de lui, s' active une nouvelle generation de volontaires que les derniers volontaires Israeliens n' ont pas connue et qui continue d'enseigner tout ce que la generation d' avant a appris des Israeliens. Dans la volonte et le desir qu' ont ces jeunes d'ameliorer leur vie Il s' est
formee une chaine qui fait passer l' enseignement de maillon en maillon, de generation de volontaires en generation.


Nous pouvons dire sans hesiter que le projet "Routards et Benevoles" est une reussite totale. La seule chose ou nous avons echoue est d' aider ces jeunes a collecter des fonds Nous les avons envoyes en formation pour mener des sollicitations efficaces, nous avons essaye de les faire rencontrer avec des organismes locaux ou etrangers mais l' isolement dans les profondeurs de la foret a rendu cette mission qui est déjà difficile pratiquement impossible.

Aussi ayant une entiere conviction dans ce projet, dans son directeur (qui lui meme a demande notre aide), dans ces jeunes incroyables qui sont plein d'espoir et aussi pour la reputation d' Israel dans le monde, nous avons decide de les aider. Nous essayons de collecter des fonds pour que le centre puisse continuer a fonctionner. Tous les dons seront verses directement au centre et dans leur integralite.

Chi Phat 2011 - we need your help!

Mid June 2011, it's been a year and a half since we, the volunteers of the last delegation of the Israeli Backpacker Contribution project, left Cambodia. A year and a half, in which we have traveled, went back to our lives, missed, and... Yes, even forgot a little. all of us, Cambodia-veterans, have many moments in which we say "wish we were back there", but all in all we can say we have gone back to our former lives.

but still, something HAS changed. Deep in the Cambodian rainforest, there is our small and very loved village. In the heart of the village, on the main road, just between the little coffee shop and the primary school, stands a big white building. Pteha Sahakum they call it. The Community Center. in this building there s a big fundamental change. Some time ago there was a bunch of crazy Israeli volunteers here, that have brought computers and English lessons. They have gathered a group of teenagers from the village, and have trained them to become volunteers all on their on.

A year and a half has passed since, and the community center is more thriving than ever. On a daily basis, English and computer classes are held, movies are screened, books are borrowed at the library and more. All this is supervised by the English teacher of the village, who is now also the manager of the community center. With him, is a new generation of teenagers, volunteering to keep continuing what the Israeli volunteers have left behind. In fact, the Israelis don't even know most of these young volunteers - they are a generation that was trained by the same generation of young leaders trained by the Israeli volunteers. Out of a real desire to improve their lives, they chose to become a link in a chain, and become young leaders on their own, while at the same time training the next generation of young leaders.

The Israeli backpackers Project is therefore very successful. it is with only one thing that we have failed - with helping these young guys with fundraising. yes, we have tried to send them to fund raising courses, and tried introducing the to local and foreign NGOs, but it seems that from the great isolation that the rainforest provides, this task, that is never simple, is particularly hard.

so out of great belief in this project, in the teacher leading it (who himself asked for this help), in the amazing teenagers that are hopeful for its outcomes, and its importance to Israel’s reputation, we have decided to help them with this task. we are now trying to raise as much as we can, so we can help the center run for another year. Every donation that we receive will be sent in full to the community center.

צ'י פאט 2011 - אנחנו זקוקים לעזרה שלכם!

אמצע יוני 2011. עברה שנה וחצי מאז עזבנו, חברי המשלחת האחרונה של פרוייקט תרמילאים ותורמים, את קמבודיה. שנה וחצי בהן טיילנו, חזרנו לחיים, התגעגענו, ו... כן, אפילו קצת שכחנו. אמנם לכל אחד מאיתנו, יוצאי קמבודיה, יש רגעים רבים בהם אנחנו אומרים ״הלוואי והיינו שם״, אבל בגדול אפשר להגיד שחזרנו לחיים שלנו.

אבל משהו בכל זאת השתנה. בלב יער הגשם הקמבודי, שוכן כפר קטן ואהוב. בלב הכפר, על הדרך הראשית, ממש בין בית הקפה הקטן לבית הספר ניצב מבנה לבן וגדול. פתהה סהקום קוראים לו. בית הקהילה. בבית הזה יש שינוי גדול ועמוק. פעם היו שם חבורה של מתנדבים ישראלים משוגעים שהביאו מחשבים ושיעורי אנגלית. הם קיבצו קבוצה של נערים ונערות מהכפר, והכשירו אותם להיות מתנדבים בעצמם.

שנה וחצי חלפה מאז ובית הקהילה פורח מתמיד. על בסיס יומיומי מתקיימים בו היום שיעורי אנגלית ומחשבים, מוקרנים סרטים, מושאלים ספרים בספריה ועוד. על הכל מפקח המורה לאנגלית של הכפר, שהפך מנהל בית הקהילה. איתו מתנדבים דור חדש של הנערים והנערות, שממשיכים להעביר הלאה את מה שהשאירו הישראלים בכפר. למעשה, את הדור הזה המתנדבים הישראלים כמעט לא מכירים- מדובר בדור שהוכשר על ידי הדור הקודם של אותם מנהיגים צעירים שאותרו והוכשרו על ידי הישראלים. מתוך רצון אמיתי לשפר את חייהם הם בחרו להפוך לחוליה בשרשרת, להפוך למנהיגים צעירים בעצמם, ובאותה עת כבר להכשיר דור נוסף של מנהיגים צעירים.

לכאורה פרוייקט תרמילאים ותורמים הוא הצלחה אדירה. לצערנו, רק דבר אחד לא הצלחנו לעשות - לעזור לחברה הצעירים לגייס כספים. כן, שלחנו אותם להכשרה בנושא, וניסינו להפגיש בינם לבין אירגונים מקומיים וזרים, אבל מהבידוד הגדול של לב יער הגשם, המשימה הזו, שתמיד אינה פשוטה, קשה במיוחד.

אז מתוך אמונה גדולה הפרוייקט הזה, במורה שמוביל אותו (שבעצמו ביקש את העזרה), בנוער המדהים שמייחל לתוצאותיו, ובחשיבותו לשמה של ישראל, החלטנו לעזור להם במשימה.אנחנו מנסים כעת לגייס כספים ככל שנוכל, כדי לסייע למרכז לפעול שנה נוספת . כל תרומה שנקבל תועבר במלואה כמובן ישירות לבית הקהילה.
